It’s been a long time since I posted a Sunday morning rundown… So here are some quick thoughts from this week:
- Holiday weekend… strange things happen; half the band didn’t show up! Weird! Don’t worry… Everyone has been communicated with, and I don’t think that will happen again.
- Even though it was a holiday weekend, it was great to see lots of new faces. Still even in summer we continue to meet new people on Sunday mornings!
- Final Answer Game Show is fun… Needs some sound effects, or music, or SOMETHING… Just needs a little kick.
- Whitney Crouch did a good job hosting “Final Answer.”
- How did you like those “portable church” pictures? I am pretty excited… See the next blog entry for more on that.
- Despite having only a partial band, Casey, Sherry, and Zac did great.
- Everybody commented about the message, I think they liked it because it was short.
- The Lord’s Supper is always a sweet time. I love that. It was our first on a Sunday morning! We’ve done it in smaller venues on several occasions. Thanks to East Ellijay Baptist for letting us borrow the plates!
- Fireworks on Lake Blue Ridge… Awesome!
