How often do you read your Bible? How does reading the Bible affect your daily life decisions?

All Scripture is inspired by God and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It corrects us when we are wrong and teaches us to do what is right. God uses it to prepare and equip his people to do every good work.

2 Timothy 3:16-17 NLT

And when people escape from the wickedness of the world by knowing our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and then get tangled up and enslaved by sin again, they are worse off than before. It would be better if they had never known the way to righteousness than to know it and then reject the command they were given to live a holy life.

2 Peter 2:20-21 NLT

Scripture is “inspired by God.” that makes it UNCOMMON. Unique. Different. How does that affect the way your approach your Bible?

Do we tend to see the Scriptures as life-giving God-breath? Or do we tend to see it as boring? Unapproachable? Why do you think that is?

Paul writes to young Timothy, encouraging him to remain faithful to what he has learned by studying the scripture…

You have been taught the holy Scriptures from childhood, and they have given you the wisdom to receive the salvation that comes by trusting in Christ Jesus.

So, would it be possible to know God without His written revelation?

For ever since the world was created, people have seen the earth and sky. Through everything God made, they can clearly see his invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature. So they have no excuse for not knowing God.
