I am really excited about my upcoming opportunity to visit India, and to preach the gospel there to many people in this predominantly Hindu culture. I’ve been blessed to visit several foreign countries, but never India, so I am looking forward to the adventure!
Youth With A Mission (YWAM) is sponsoring several upcoming evangelistic concerts in India, primarily in the Kolkata area. Difference United is the awesome band that will be performing these shows in larger and smaller venues. We’re planning to have the concert, which will include a gospel message. (that’s my part!)
We’re heading out this Saturday, November 1. Our flight connects in Dubai, and we’ll arrive in Kolkata on Monday, Nov 3. (they are 10.5 hours ahead of us.) We will return on Nov 17.
I don’t know the entire itinerary… The last word I got was that it was still coming together. I do know that there are concerts scheduled on Nov 7, 8, 9, and 15. There are other events being scheduled in between, including some school campus events, and some workshops for pastors.

Prayer is the key! None of this will be effective without the Holy Spirit at work in and through us. Please pray for each of these opportunities, for our team, and for me. Please also be sure to pray for my family while I am away for a couple of weeks.
