Lifegroup Discussion Questions: “One Reason”

walk01

On Sunday, we began the new “One” series in Ephesians 4.  This section is literally the pivot point for the entire book of Ephesians, which we have been studying through.  In this series, we will discover the ONE LENS that we can view our salvation through as we walk it out.  This series will help us simplify our lives!

In the message, Steve boiled Ephesians 4:1 down to one three-word phrase.  “Therefore, walk worthy.”   What does that phrase mean to you?

Read a few sections of Ephesians to get the “therefore.”

  • Eph 1: 4-8
  • Eph 2:8-10
  • Eph 3:17-18

Steve says that “doctrine shows us how to see the cross.”  Did you ever think of it that way?  Why is it important to see the cross?  How important is it for me to have good doctrine of my salvation?

So, since we can see the cross, we should “walk worthy.”  In other words, our life should “weigh equally.”  Where did that phrase come from?

Read these verses and discuss how that reasoning applies to us.

  • Hebrews 6:9-11
  • Titus 2:11-13
