Ground Broken

What an incredible night! We gathered together on the new property, where we prayed inside the outline of the new building. Specific prayers were given for each of our key ministries, including Children’s, Youth, Celebrate Recovery, and Worship. Then, our elders officially broke ground with golden shovels. (BARELY!!! That ground is HARD, I am telling you!)
Afterward, it was great to just hang out with people at our campfires. We did NOT do the big bonfire that we had planned, due to some stiff winds and very dry conditions. It was still a lot of fun. I ate two hotdogs!

This new building is not about the concrete and steel… It is about the stone that the builders had rejected. THAT stone has become the CORNERSTONE. Jesus Christ is that cornerstone that we are building upon. Praise the Lord!
